Terms of Service

1. About Pinghug

Pinghug is an online chat and private messaging service. Members can create a profile, find other users by username, send friend requests and, where the service permits, communicate through one-to-one messages. Some features may be available on the website or Android app.

These Terms apply to your access to and use of Pinghug, including related features and services. “Pinghug,” “we,” “us” and “our” refer to the Pinghug service and its operator. KPP Technology should be treated as the operator only to the extent that it is identified as such in the service’s official information.

2. Age and eligibility

Pinghug is intended for adults aged 19 and older. By registering or using the service, you confirm that you are at least 19 years old and legally able to agree to these Terms.

Do not create an account or use Pinghug if you are under 19. Do not misrepresent your age. If we reasonably believe an account does not meet this age requirement, we may restrict or suspend access while the issue is reviewed.

3. Your account

• Provide information that is accurate to the extent requested during registration and keep it reasonably up to date.
• Keep your password, login details and access credentials confidential.
• You are responsible for activity carried out through your account, except where applicable law says otherwise.
• Do not impersonate another person, create misleading profiles, or use another person’s account without permission.
• Contact Support promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

Using a username instead of displaying a phone number does not make you anonymous to the service or guarantee that other users cannot identify you from information you share.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use Pinghug lawfully and respectfully. You must not:

• Harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate, exploit or repeatedly contact someone who has asked you to stop.
• Share, request, create or distribute child sexual abuse material, or use the service to exploit or endanger a minor.
• Send unlawful threats, hateful abuse, scams, phishing links, malware or other harmful material.
• Spam users, send bulk unsolicited messages, manipulate features, or use bots or automated methods without authorization.
• Publish another person’s private information, images or messages without a lawful basis or permission where required.
• Infringe intellectual property, violate another person’s rights, or use Pinghug to facilitate illegal activity.
• Attempt to bypass account restrictions, interfere with the service, probe its security without authorization, or disrupt other users’ access.

We may update these rules when features, risks or legal requirements change.

5. Messages and user content

You are responsible for the text, images, profile details and other material you submit or share through Pinghug (“User Content”). You must have the rights and permissions needed to share that content and must not upload unlawful or prohibited material.

You retain any rights you have in your User Content. You give Pinghug permission to host, store, process and display it as needed to operate the features you use, provide the service, protect users and enforce these Terms, subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Online interactions involve people you may not know. We do not guarantee that another user’s profile, statements, intentions or shared content are accurate. Use care before trusting users, opening links, sending money or sharing personal information.

6. Privacy and safety

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. Please read it before using the service. Do not share passwords, financial details, precise location or other sensitive information with people you do not trust.

If you encounter concerning behaviour, use any reporting or blocking controls available in the service and contact Support. Review our Child Safety Policy for additional safety guidance. Do not assume every report is reviewed instantly or that every harmful interaction can be prevented.

7. Coins, paid features and availability

If Pinghug provides coins, subscriptions or other paid features, the applicable price, feature description and purchase terms shown at the time of purchase will apply. Coins or virtual items are for use within the service and have no cash value unless we expressly state otherwise. They may not be transferred, sold or redeemed except where the service explicitly allows it or applicable law requires it.

Features, limits and prices may change. Any refund rights are governed by the terms shown at purchase and applicable law. Do not make a purchase if you do not understand the price or feature being offered.

8. Moderation and account restrictions

We may review reports and take reasonable action where we believe these Terms, safety rules or applicable law have been violated. Depending on the circumstances, action may include removing content, limiting a feature, warning a user, temporarily suspending an account or terminating access.

We may also restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate suspected abuse, address security risks or comply with law. We do not promise that every report will result in a particular outcome. Where appropriate, you may contact Support to ask about an account restriction.

9. Service changes and termination

We may update, suspend or discontinue parts of Pinghug for maintenance, security, operational or legal reasons. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes when appropriate, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.

You may stop using Pinghug at any time. If an account deletion option is available, you can use it or contact Support for guidance. Some information may be retained where necessary for security, dispute resolution, legal compliance or legitimate operational purposes, as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers and liability

Pinghug is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, that the service will always be error-free, or that other users will behave appropriately. We cannot guarantee the identity, reliability or intentions of other members.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Pinghug is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service or interactions with other users. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or removes rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top indicates when this version was published. Continued use of Pinghug after revised Terms take effect means you accept the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law. If you do not agree, stop using the service.
